Edd BrookesSenior Director Middle East, General Manager Cushman & Wakefield Qatar
As General Manager of Cushman & Wakefield Qatar, Edd has a strong focus on new business development, as well as heading Cushman & Wakefield’s Middle East Valuation Panel. He joined the Qatar office in 2006, after fourteen years working in commercial real estate in the UK. Edd has significant experience across the Middle East, utilising his expertise in development feasibility, investment, commercial agency and property management in markets including Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Project highlights have included work with clients such as Arcapita, Exxon Mobil, HSBC and Shell.
Edd is a Land Management graduate of the University of Reading and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Edd is a regular contributor to regional industry-focused publications.
Mark ProudleyDirector, Head of Commercial Agency, Consulting & Research
Mark is Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Real Estate Consultancy Team, having been at our Qatar office since 2006. He specialises in commercial and residential leasing, corporate advisory and development feasibility. Utilising extensive knowledge gained through agency experience and market research, Mark advises clients on identifying investment and development opportunities, undertakes site and property assessments and prepares market and financial analysis. Recent client and project highlights have included Lusail Real Estate Development Company (Urjuan, Al Khor), Meraas (Dubai Towers Doha) and KPMG (Bahrain Real Estate Market Assessment). Mark is a Member of the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors (MRICS), and authors DTZ Qatar’s reports in Property Times.
Adam StewartHead of Valuation Advisory, Qatar
Adam has been Head of Valuation Advisory at Cushman & Wakefield Qatar since January 2014. Adam moved to Qatar from Cushman & Wakefield’s London office where his focus was on the coordination and execution of valuations across the UK, Europe and Middle East. In his time at Cushman & Wakefield, Adam has valued assets exceeding £5 billion in total value for a range of clients including banks, funds, property companies and private investors. His valuation highlights in Qatar have included Tornado Tower, Burj Doha and Qatar World Trade Centre, and he has valued portfolios including Alfardan, Ezdan and Qatar Foundation.
Adam is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and is a Registered Valuer. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
Johnny ArcherAssociate Director
Johnny joined the Cushman & Wakefield team as Associate Director in July 2014, prior to which he headed Valuations, Research & Consultancy at Asteco Qatar. His main areas of expertise include Development Feasibility, Valuation and Commercial Agency, having serviced clients including QNB, Commercial Bank of Qatar, Barwa Bank, Qatar Insurance Company, and Alfardan Holdings. Recent projects have included a 150,000 sq m retail mall feasibility study for Barwa Bank and a real estate market assessment for Commercial Bank of Qatar. Johnny’s extensive knowledge of the market has been gained through numerous valuation, commercial leasing and acquisition instructions throughout Qatar.
Before moving to the Middle East, Johnny worked for EDF Energy in London and for Lisney Chartered Surveyors in Ireland. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a RICS registered valuer and holds a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management Surveying from Glamorgan University.
